Diane Devaney Named One of Maryland’s Top 100 Women

Congratulations to Diane Devaney, who was recently named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record! This is the second time Diane has received this honor. She and the other honorees were honored at an April 18 ceremony at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. See the special publication recognizing this year’s winners.

Launched in 1996, The Daily Record’s list of the Top 100 Women Diane Devaney 31 Kimberly Fine Portraiture[1]recognizes outstanding women leaders in Maryland who are making an impact through their professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring.

Diane was among 350 women nominated for this year’s honor. Of the 100 selected, 64 women are first-time recipients and fifteen were inducted into the Circle of Excellence.

Nominees were asked to complete an application outlining their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships, and mentoring experience. They were also encouraged to submit letters of recommendation from those who are familiar with their accomplishments professionally, in the community and through mentoring.

A preliminary round of judging by Maryland’s Top 100 Women’s Circle of Excellence honorees reviewed the applications and selected 150 applicants to compete in the final round. A panel of business professionals and past Maryland’s Top 100 Women winners from throughout Maryland reviewed the final applications and selected this year’s honorees.

“Maryland’s Top Women 100 honorees are exemplary citizens, committed to their communities, creating change and growing the next generation of leaders through mentoring,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “This year’s honorees also share an amazing talent for balancing the many facets of their lives while also serving as outstanding leaders. The Daily Record is pleased to honor them.”
